SHHHH! It's Sgt. Hook's Birthday!! UPDATED
Hey everyone. I just want to say how grateful I am to the response we have gotten on Sgt. Hook's Birthday Card. I've been keeping an eye on things and so far we have over 100 comments (without much publicity) and they are all just so beautiful. I really think he is going to be blown away. HOWEVER - we still have 3 days before we bring this to his attention and I, personally want to see at least 3x that number of comments. (I'm a sales person, I thrive on outlandish goals.) So - spread the word via e-mails. We are going to put a real push on come Monday April 26th and then point him to the card that evening. Let' keep this going. - Tammi
Here's a chance to do something very nice for one of the Blogshere's own heros. Sgt. Hook's birthday is April 28th. We thought it was important to do something special for him.
So - we've put together an INTERNET BIRTHDAY CARD. Laughing Wolf has added his creative genius and written a beautiful message, taken from one of Hook's favorite authors. Go to the comments section and leave a message letting him know how much he is thought of.
Also - if you can, go to his site and hit the Paypal. Buy him a beer or contribute to his BBQ Morale Fund. That's just one more way to let him know we love him.
We would like to keep this a secret from him (yeah Right Tammi, a secret on the internet!) and are planning to send him a link to the card a couple of days before his Birthday. So hurry up - and spread the word. I recommend sending the link out to the people in your address book. Even if you are one of the few that have NOT been reading his stuff, send him wishes on HIS Day.
CAUTION: COMMENTS WILL BE MONITORED. DON'T EVEN THINK OF PUTTING ANYTHING NEGATIVE IN THEM. ALL TROLL-LIKE/NEGATIVE COMMENTS WILL BE DELETED. AND YOU'LL HAVE PISSED ME OFF - AND THAT WILL NOT BE GOOD FOR YOU!!
